INDIAN government has principally agreed to defer reservations in private institutes and companies.It seems that good sense has prevailed finally.I just wish to ask all these vote hungry politicians of INDIA - WOULD IT HAVE BEEN POSSIBLE TO CREATE WORLD CLASS COMPANY LIKE INFOSYS HAD THERE BEEN RESERVATIONS AND MERIT NOT BEING THE SOLE CRITERIA FOR SELECTION? WE RE HERE ONLY BECAUSE OF OUR MERIT AND NOTHIG ELSE.The moment we put caste or anything else above merit we shall lose the competitive edge over others. Dont u agree with me ?
