INSPIRING INDIANS ! ! ! series.

Hello friends , I am starting a new series about all those INDIANS who against all odds have excelled in their own fields and set an example for the others to follow. The most appropriate person to start this list is none other than Dr. A.P. J. Abdul Kalam, the PRESIDENT OF INDIA. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam is his full name and is one of the most learned president INDIA has ever had.He has specialised in Aeronautical Engineering from Madras Institute of Technology and has been instrumental in developing missile technology.Dr. KALAM made significant contribution as Project Director to develop INDIA's indigenous satellite launch vehicle ( SLV III ) which launched first satellite in near earth orbit in JULY 1980 to make INDIA select member of SPACE CLUB. Dr. KALAM worked with ISRO ( INDIAN SPACE RESEARCH ORGANISATION) for two decades and gave his invaluable contribution to develop indigenous satellite launch vehicles - PSLV and GSLV . He was responsible in development of INDIA's strategic missile armour - PRITHVI and AGNI missiles which forms a major part of INDIA' s defence to deter any hostility against INDIA by enemies.He also was scientific advisor to defence minister and helped in POKHRAN II in may 1998.
Dr. KALAM became the 11th PRESIDENT of INDIA on 25th JULY 2002. A Muslim PRESIDENT nominated by BJP ; this was perfect epitome of secularism in INDIA . This and many such events have proved time and again the secular nature of this country.
